Ardent Admiration
I will not be ignored
Busted down or broken
This is what has caused the damages before
Disfigurement marred by your
Friendship’s masquerade
Leaving me a feeling of
Disenchanted empathy
I could have been the very best for you
With loyalty and earnest fierce compassion
But you chose injury and insults
Over precious little me
I trusted in your ardent admiration
Wanting only to return the high esteem
Yet there in, your affections faltered
I guess that means, the jokes on me
And in the end, I am simply disappointed
That my pure heart was made a fool
I surrender to your incensed sedition
By way of life’s essential poetry
